Svenska kraftnät quickly need to scale up the ability to build overhead lines, from the current ca 100 km to more than 600 km of completed 400 kV overhead lines per year.

Svenska kraftnät's ambition is to get more products that meet our requirements according to the technical guidelines to ensure a stable and secure delivery and quality going forward.

We are now taking a comprehensive approach and are calling on all current and new suppliers and manufacturers to submit documents showing that the products meet our technical requirements for upcoming procurements.

The products that meet Svenska kraftnät's requirements will be listed on our website and the list will be updated continuously as more products are quailified. The list will then be used by procured contractors who purchase the products for construction of Svenska kraftnät's projects.

Depending on the product and the requirements, the assessment is estimated to take approximately 6-12 months. Svenska kraftnät may request additional reports and tests.
