Due to cancelation of the procurement Hansa PowerBridge will be delayed

Svenska kraftnät and 50Hertz have decided to cancel the procurement for Hansa PowerBridge. The reason is that the technical requirements have been changed and challenges in the existing electricity network results in substantial changes of the tender documents. Svenska kraftnät and 50Hertz intend to start a new procurement at a later stage, preliminary in Q1 2024.

Based on the above the time plan for the overall project will be delayed. New estimated time plan is to have Hansa PowerBridge in operation at 2028/2029.
